A History with Perspective.

Mark Atkins founded Coratek in 2002 with the realization that there is always a best way to approach and accomplish challenging tasks in any perioperative environment.  Having worked for a leading information system vendor he understands the available tools and the direction of the industry.  His responsibilities at a major academic health system included overseeing the selection and implementation of perioperative software.  He understands the varied perspectives of all of the concerned parties, and knows firsthand that there is an effective way to address and meet all of the criteria. 

Mark’s unique skill set brought a new perspective to J & J Healthcare management consulting division.  His understanding of how total hospital solutions specifically affected the OR added clarity and insight.  Here he was able to shape Coratek’s approach and service offerings to satisfy a niche in consulting that is generally overlooked by total healthcare management.  The result is a targeted emphasis on periop, a detailed, comprehensive approach to the most practical solutions.
